EUUF Member's Art Showcase Featuring Hollis Peters
Attention Art Lovers: EUUF presents Hollis Peters: Old Roots, New Growth Art Showcase until September 28th.

Each quarter, EUUF is proud to showcase one of our member's art for public viewing and sale.
Our mission is to focus on artists whose body of work is relatively unknown, giving them the opportunity to exhibit - many for the first time. Our opening show, held from April - June, 2025 featured a lifetime of work by Eureka Springs photographer, Susan Storch. Her exhibit presented a rich history of Eureka Springs residents, shops and performers. The showcase was a tremendous success with much of her work being sold. We are already booked to the third quarter of 2026 and anticipate a wide variety of mediums and talent to present.
The Art Wall is located at the Eureka Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, 17 Elk Street in the Eureka Springs Historic District. Off-street parking is available. Handicap entrance is through the side door to our building. We are proud to announce our new showcase ...

Artist Statement:
This show marks my first step into sharing my artwork publicly, and I could not imagin a better place to begin than here in Eureka Springs - a place that already feels like home. Though I am new to town, my roots run deep in the area through family connections and friends and a shared spirit with the people who live here. The openess, creativity, and love of this community have given me the confidence to bring my work into the light.
The paintings in "Old Roots, New Growth" are an exploration of feeling, color, and movement - a kind of visual journaling. Working primarily in acrylics, along with acrylic pens and mixed media, I try to let each piece evolve naturally as a flow from my mind to the canvas. It is less about recreating what I see, and more about expressing how I interpret and feel the shapes, colors, and energy of the world around me. This body of work represents a personal season of growth, change, and reconnection. It is a chance for me to reflect on where I have come from, while also reaching into something new. I am very excited (and a little nervous) to see how others experience these pieces, and whether my way of seeing resonates with them. Thank you for taking the time to view my work and be part of this. I feel truly grateful to be creating and sharing in such an amazing community.
