SNAP Suspended Leaving Area Families Struggling - Here's How To Help.
URGENT: Food insecure neighbors without SNAP Benefits NEED OUR HELP.
With SNAP benefits ending November 1, 2025, the results will leave our two food pantries over-burdened and many of our neighbors feeling extreme distress. To support this strain ... EUUF is encouraging members and friends to support Flint Street and Cup of Love with items to help relieve the pressure.
This is an emergency situation.
According to Taylor Speegle, Northwest Arkansas Food Bank's chief strategy officer, “For every one meal the Food Bank can provide, SNAP provides nine*." Arkansas already has one of the highest rates of food insecurity in the nation, particularly among children. Feeding America claims that one in four Arkansas children go to bed hungry.
According to the USDA 40% of children under the age of 18 account for SNAP benefits. source
With the cessation of SNAP Benefits our children are at risk.
Let's band together to help this URGENT NEED.
